This morning, ³ÉÈ˶¶Òõ staff and students gathered in their Houses for student-led Ash Wednesday prayer services, marking the beginning of Lent. Ashes blessed at St Dominic’s Parish were distributed as a symbol of reflection, renewal and commitment to the Lenten journey.

Select students also had the privilege of representing ³ÉÈ˶¶Òõ at the 2025 Caritas Australia Project Compassion launch, joining twenty other schools from the Melbourne Archdiocese for a gathering officiated by Archbishop Peter Comensoli at Emmaus College. Embracing this year’s theme, ‘Unite Against Poverty’, Waratah House kicked off the campaign with a Shrove Tuesday pancake stall, raising funds to support those in need.
